3-2 Thought they would of won last week. They might win 1 conference game for sure out of 5 teams. Not trying to ruffle feathers but there are 3 teams in their conference that would walk through region 1 2a. Mountain Heritage and Mitchell are the real deal. Polk County is really good.Owen is getting better and Madison not very good at all.

Would like a shot at Avery every year! If anyone has any pull up there, tell em to repent and schedule us instead of turning us down every time. Last time we played there was in 2015, then at home 2016...and the action in the parking lots was much better than their action on the field ;)

You should want to play Mitchell or Mountain Heritage not Avery. You guys played them when they were really down.Mitchell and Mountain Heritage are having to play teams from way off. Give them a call.

Yea but I like beating Avery! MH is 2A in NC, equal to bigger 3A in TN and Mitchell ain't small school either!

Mitchell has about 500 kids Avery has more. Avery is one of the biggest 1a schools.Mountain Heritage plays in small 2a not that much bigger than Hampton. Get JR to call them. They had to cancel a game against a school from Georgia Lifeway Christian Academy.

I thot Avery was around 400 and the others 700+

      I expect Sevier County might be pretty good, perhaps Mo West as well.     But I don't see either of them getting out of round 2.          The rest of the region gets smoked in round 1.            Except for those once-in-a-blue-moon anomaly years the NET big schools are pretty much the same every season.

      Wanted to see if all of you would lift up Kyle James family in prayer. Kyle was one of the best wrestlers to ever come out of Soddy Daisy and as some of you know he lost his house a few weeks ago and now his family and friends mourns his passing. Not sure if any of you were around in early 2000’s when Kyle was wrestling at Soddy, but he was a 3 time state champ and a Fargo AA along with going to Colorado to train to make the Olympic team. That goal was never reached due to medical issues, but he was an amazing wrestler and his family is as good as gold. If you were around at that time and have any pictures of Kyle, please go onto Alexy Winesburgh FB page and post. Thanks, Doug Benton

      My opinion the 8 teams will be-  Greenback, Wartburg, Gordonsville, Jo Byrns, Eagleville, Bruceton, Dresden, and South Fulton. Gordonsviile is probably the favorite but I wont say it will be an easy road. With the right draw any of the 8 could win it.
