Springfield at Creekwood; Region 5-4A Championship

Thanks to some help from White House, Springfield travels to Creekwood with the winner winning the region and the loser 2 or 3 depending on other results. I felt beginning the season these were the two best teams in the region. Hopefully weather won’t be a factor next week but you never know. This should be a great high school game.

I like the way we seem to be clicking right now on defense. Need to bring the A game bc that offense is capable of scoring. Speed.

Jacket offense seems to have turned a corner and it’s about time! 

BTW the game will start at 730 at CreekWood I think

Dickson County High is down this year as the Creek Wood Red Hawks begin to soar.  Wonder how many of the city players are making their way out to Charlotte?

Dickson County has been down since Coach Pearson left in 2003.

We just couldn’t ever seem to beat DHS when we were in the same region with them.  I do like there Auburn style uni’s though

Former Springfield player and coach. He and his late brother Jimbo also former Jacket player and coach should be in SHS Hall of Fame next class.

Your absolutely right.  Coach Pearson was inducted into the TSSAA Hall of Fame in 2012.
