Riverside at Waverly

If Waverly wins, the region championship is theirs, based on their win at Houston Co. (and Riverside's loss to Houston Co.)  If Riverside wins and Houston Co. loses to Hickman Co., Riverside could still be the region champ. If Riverside loses, they will be third and on the road again. Lewis Co. coaches scouted Riverside last night at Adamsville.

And if Riverside wins and Houston Co wins, then Houston is 1st Riverside is 2nd and Waverly is 3rd?

I believe Waverly seals the deal and Houston too.

Waverly 1

Houston 2

Riverside 3

Hickman 4

If Riverside wins and Houston wins

Houston 1

Riverside 2

Waverly 3

Hickman 4

If Riverside wins and Houston loses I believe Houston still wins region for over all record?

IN the last scenario riverside would be Region champs bc Houston would have two region losses

This is a tough game to judge!

How is the Panthers run Defense?

I'll b honest. Their run defense is good. Yeah have had problems getting off the field at times due to counters and such but will not gash them. Trader said on a previous thread how they were getting 4 yards at a time but that was pretty much the opening series and it was fixed. They had 73 Yards on 40 attempts. No disrespect trader just clarifying. What about your defense besides secondary

What do the match-ups with Region 5 look like? I haven't been keeping up with them much this year. How will their 1-2-3-4 likely end up?

They are in kind of the same predicament as us. I think Forrest is a clear one, but all the other positions are based on who wins or loses on Friday. Crazy because everyone would normally know where they would place in playoffs by now, but it all comes down to the last week! I knew when I saw the schedule at the beginning of the season, that this would be the region championship game, and I was right!

Yes, I guess we will see next Saturday morning how everything shakes out. That Region 5 is as dangerous as a rattlesnake 1 through 4 either way you slice it. Vandy was right when he projected early on our region would be a little down this year. The biggest surprise I had was how much Houston Co. improved over last year.

I was saying Forrest would beat Lewis but I’m kinda leaning Lewis County way now. Should be a good game.
