Not really. Of the 11 teams faced 6 were exclusively shotgun/ spread teams. 3 were primarily power run/ Wing-T teams and 2 ran a little of both. The three best athletes on the team are in the secondary.

Our defense gave up  167 yards passing and 1 TD last season to Waverly and all DBs are back.

Several of them threw. They just didn’t have much success and test the defense.
