I remember the the 1st game between the Falcons and Mustangs. 1965 Milan Jaycee Bowl. Exciting game that opened up with back to back kick-off returns for TD's. Mustangs won 32-14.

There is a guy from Huntingdon that was really good. My father has talked about him before. I just can't remember his name. He might have played around that time. He is like a legend in Huntingdon as far as football.

Larry Stewart perhaps?  First high school all American at Huntingdon, think he graduated in 1956. Bobby Hayes was a hoss, went on to star at UTM and was drafted but injured. maybe Tim Priest who graduated in 66 and went on to hold the career int record at UT.

Probably Tim Priest great QB who played corner at Tennessee. 65 was his junior year. His 1966 team was the #1 public school in the state behind 2 privates MBA and BGA in the old litenhous poll. Great team that dominated every contest. Our closest regular season game that year was a 27-0 victory over Jackson Northside.
