The fourth and final boy; I plan on enjoying it greatly...I appreciate that and I think (by past experience) he could compete for that position about anywhere....But he'll be runn'n and throwing right here, Lord willing

Your comment was fact though....I even heard Bristol lost a few stud 8th graders to Elizabethton; not sure if that's fact or not.

If you're a stud athlete in the county schools, You have to enjoy small town football and your school to stick around...We shall see

But, we won't know what we have to work with until we figure out who Elizabethton draws their way! Not supposed to matter anyways as Meigs already figures to run through Regions 1 & 2 to the 2020 semis. My honest opinion,I look for a 9 and 1, 10 and 0 type season. Just hope the kids put in the required work to be the best they can be. I'm hearing good things.

Do you think a 10-0 season prepares you for the ultimate goal. A playoff run.

Not necessarily, but you just do the best you can and go on.Could win a couple but the hill gets steep after that. Would love to win it all but its takes a Great team for that.

Playing 3 1a games on your schedule doesn’t help. If Hampton tried to schedule Mitchell I bet you the gate would be just as big or bigger as a Cloudland game. It would help you more in the long run. Right now there is no reason to play Unaka other than it being a stat game.
