The date will be confirmed next week. Sounds good to me. They should award the gold ball to Clarkrange or Loretto. Personally i think Clarkrange looked like the best team and after doing a little research on that Greenfield/Loretto game my reasoning will make sense. MrMiyagi
Correct me if my 2nd / 3rd hand info is incorrect. Loretto’s point guard - 1st game of season- played 10 min - game was played at Gibson Co HS which essentially made it a home game for Greenfield versus a 3 hour drive for the Loretto team. Now imagine those factors I just mentioned were reversed and Chloe - 1st game of season - 10 min played - 3 hour drive. Loretto would have beat them by 30 in that scenario therefore they should let Clarkrange play Loretto for the gold ball.

I just posted this as a funny, I hope everyone knows I was only kidding. We just want to finish this tournament for the girls.

How Clarkrange played in the 2nd half of that Huntingdon game.... As a Loretto fan, they worry me more than Greenfield. Clarkrange is legit. You have to handle the ball and don’t turn it over. Bet Huntingdon had 35 or more TO’s that game. Greenfield and I were watching it and counted 7 or 8 first two or theee minutes of the game. Ringmaster17
I'm gonna go a little different route than some on here and not just brag brag brag on my team and certain players. I'm gonna just tell it like I see it. Clarkrange is good and capable of winning the whole thing. The twins are special but they need their teammates to get it done. They can't beat anybody by themselves. We can and have had bad games. No perfection here. No perfect players. Can't beat every team in the state. Who we have beat, winning record, how well we played Thursday don't mean anything to me. Each game is a new game. Greenfield may beat us by 50. Loretto or Gibson may then beat them by 50. I will congratulate the winner and be proud to have been in the bottom four with all you guys. I just hope one of us gets to hold up that gold ball! I hope we don't have to tell our grandkids how a virus took our memories away

It was about the 6th game for both and Loretto PG played whole game that was at Westview not GC - Not like Greenfield goes there and shoots on their goals on the weekly lol. Most those girls on both teams play ball year round traveling all over the country playing stiffer competition in AAU than they do in HS. The two and a half hour drive is laughable.....just about everyone at the glass house drives over two hours so is that Going to be their excuse to getting beat last week? This isnt Clarkrange’s year yet. Maybe next but not this year. It would be a Greenfield vs Loretto final.

He is referring to Mimi Mcbee as our PG that was sidelined the entire year until that game. It was her first game action of the year. And you referring to everyone having to travel to state. Yes, you are right. Level playing field. But if you think your team staying home, and another team riding 3 hrs on a bus to play you at home gives you no advantage, you have never played sports.
