We used to do fireworks about a decade ago. TSSAA said school personnel could not do it on school property so we had to stop that. I believe Anderson co is done by private citizens on private property adjoining the stadium. That’s what we would have to do.

Looks like Milan’s at it again trying to get early start!!

Is this a TSSAA decision or just individual school districts??

TSSAA has always allowed for weight lifting and conditioning during this time.  Nothing has changed in that regard. Individual schools must adhere to what the board and superintendent decide. The board and superintendent will go by what local government and state level government says. So in other words the state has cleared small group activities. Now it would just be up to local government and district administration.

If a man wanted get rich...he'd put a Hot Rod's Grill next to the Stadium!

Hot Rods was amazing. Imagine if it was right beside the stadium in Alcoa. You could eat there before the game and just walk over after you eat. That’s how it is with chow wagon in Milan. Amazing food. Very similar to Hot Rods. Been a staple in Milan and a Friday night tradition for decades.  But hopefully I will be back to enjoy Hot Rods again soon.

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
