FridayMainEvent
It will be interesting to see what that wide open offense Palmer runs will look like with the very talented twins in the backfield! We had Summit number one preseason. I don't think this move hurt them any.

If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I will agree that he likes to throw it a bunch in a wide open style offense, but it will be interesting if they go away from what was so successful. The good playcallers adapt to their personnel. They maybe a little bit more balanced in what they do, but their a run first team all the way through. Palmer should consider himself lucky that he got a 2nd chance in a really good position. Here's hoping he makes the most of it
BooWhoWiseMan
Should be quite the interesting stories being told in that coaches office.

This isn't a disagreeing comment, just a thought! I'm a Knox Central fan who watched 2 good teams square off in December. I watched YouTube games before the game to get an idea of what we were going to face. We felt we could stop Summit's run and dare them to throw, and it pretty much worked. I think the twins and their talents are being under used. People think Central wants to throw the ball, but we would on average throw it 15-25 times a game. In an average game, that's not considered "pass oriented". I'm not saying move away from the run oriented offense, but the twins are too talented to just hand the ball here and there and pound it. If the new coach can add to the passing game, you go from a very successful run-based attack to an explosive offense.

If the new coach can add to the passing game, you go from a very successful run-based attack to an explosive offense. The only thing I would add is that they actually were very explosive last season, especially in the playoffs. Most teams simply couldn’t stop them, even though they knew what was coming. Knox Central just had more talent and was flat out better, but that wasn’t the norm. If they change things up too much for a team that is fundamentally sound running the ball, it could actually make them less cohesive and a bit disorganized. Not to mention, the advantage of running the clock while running the ball would be limited. In other words, it could completely change their approach and game plan. Again, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. It’s an interesting dilemma they are in, especially heading into the season ranked in the top 5. BooWhoWiseMan
Didn't they have 2 guys that went to Tenn Tech. And one was a very good wr if I remember correctly. What do the WRs look like. Would assume that would be important
titans1221
Not any more. Palmer already left for greener pastures in Alabama.

FridayMainEvent
I really hated that for Coach Coleman. He went to bat for Palmer after being dismissed at Shelbyville to get him hired in Williamson County. It puts them in a tough spot losing him so close to Football returning. Stuff like this really should not happen. Period. It’s so wrong.
