Just in case no one saw the post on the 3A/4A thread, the enrollment numbers have been released by the T$$AA. Springfield is at 1264, over a 150 student increase from last time. Say hello again to 5A.

Looking at the current 5A regions, the Jackets might wind up in region 6 with Hillwood, Hillsboro, Glencliff and Hunters Lane. Gallatin and Beech are currently in that region but I think they may go up to 6A. Putting Springfield in region 7 with the Clarksville teams would also put them in the same region as Dyer County and I don't think the T$$AA would do that.

Looking at the numbers Glencliff and Hillwood might move down due to the numbers. Portland and Station Camp could slide into this region as well if they move up which they should.

I knew a couple starters would be out but I counted at least 5 maybe 6 on offense that didn’t play, including our 2 biggest play makers and starting RB, plus the starting punter.....think fumbled punt snap on first series. Just a weird game all around, missing players and crowd was DEAD the whole game.  Proud of all the backups and Jv players that stepped up and brought home the win last night. Hopefully the experiences gained will serve us well going forward.

Poor Chris constantly has to get our fans on their feet on a big down on defense lol

I didn’t realize at the time that both Mt Juliet and their new sister school Green Hills are going to be 5A as well. That would almost definitely push us to region 7, because region 5 south of Nashville will have at least 7 teams.  Maybe Dyer could go to 8 and Portland could go with us to region 7.  Have to wait and see, and hopefully they put it off a year but you never know.
