Every Region teams have a lease 5 Teams in a region . in past years you have 2 region in Memphis 9 teams and 8 got Automatic bid to the playoff over half of those did not have winning record

I don’t have a dog in the fight, but move Dickson to Region 6 and you are on to something with your prediction.  I believe Dickson is closer to the Clarksville area than the Franklin/Brentwood area.  I will never understand the reasoning to split Rutherford County, but TSSAA has done it before so I can see it happening.

Cane Ridge and Antioch will not get split up. Oakland and Siegel will not get split up. I don’t think Cane Ridge or Antioch will be included with any of  the Murfreesboro schools.

You guys are forgetting about West Ridge, this is a brand new high school in the Tri-cities due to open in 2021.     WR is a combination of Sullivan South, Sullivan Central, Sullivan North.     Will they be a 6A school?

Don't think it works out this way, but you do wonder if the TSSAA would intentionally move Oakland to Region 5 so they could potentially have a Maryville-Oakland matchup for the title every year

This is what I posted on the other thread. I agree that they should put Oakland in Region 5 for a variety of reasons. So, in my estimation below they could easily just flip flop the naming of "Region 4" and "Region 5". They may do things a little differently this time around besides just going straight geography or tradition, simply because of the huge growth in middle Tennessee and the large number of 6A schools in close proximity to each other. In the end, who knows?? It's fun to put a plan together, trying to be as fair as possible with competitive balance and not be so "status quo". The TSSAA should take note. Additionally, please, please get rid of the tiebreaker rules including anything to do with overall record/non-region games!! Use region games to determine all tiebreakers! You can do points allowed in the first half or point differential in the first half between the tied schools in a multi-team tie very easily. It's not rocket science.     Region 1
