Anybody else find it strange that the answer for LA next year is Dilfer is going to go find some D linemen?  What happened to molding the boys you have and adjusting your scheme?  Seems like for some schools it’s turned into let’s go find the best players so we can win?  Does that make you a good coach or a good recruiter?

Maybe he should try his hand at Coaching at Red Boiling Springs where he can't have 17 Assistants....

Just curious...where are you hearing this?  We rotated probably 7-8 on the line against CPA.  Only #9 and 44 are seniors.  98 is an 8th grader, 99 is a freshman and 29 and 52 are sophomores.  They will get developed and get bigger and stronger.  Contrary to popular belief, Trent is not going out recruiting.  Now players may come because it is a fun place to play but it won’t be because he needs to out “recruiting”.

98 and 99 were recruited out of Franklin Just ask their head coach. Where are all the out of state players coming from?

assume out of state....

But I can assure you that Trent did not recruit the kicker from California with no offers, the LB from Colorado with no offers and DB from Michigan with an offer from Air Force.  Sometimes players hear about a program and want to be a part of it.....no sure what LA is supposed to do about that.

If you think there is a reason these kids just show up you are crazy. Kids don’t just show up. It’s a process.  I am not even knocking it... just personally don’t care for the approach but if doing it above board and you feel thats what highschool should be have at it.  Why does he go on Fox and ESPN in LA gear?  Why do they made several social media videos a week?  Why is Dilfer the star in all those videos?  He is building up a brand to attract the kids.  The kids are not coming for the school but for Dilfer. Again nothing wrong with that , just not what highschool football is about in my opinion.

Notice his own personal video crew that follows him every where. Most likely this is all about a book or movie about Dilfer and Lipscomb is the stage.
