It was Roy that got you Grider’s main number. Haha.  As soon as I seen it I knew it was the school number.  I was rolling.  Good one Roy!

Roy, I talked to Grider at the school today and he said to tell you if you give out his number again he is making a lifetime ban on fudgerounds and Red Bull's entering into Beene stadium.

Roy,  Grider doesn't have time to be answering the durn telephone.  He needs to be training our boys to knock a hole in that Hughes mans line.  If we lose our season is over.

Well, tomorrow night will bring some challenges we haven't seen in a while. I am personally excited about seeing a game that won't be a blowout in the first 8 minutes.

For Monterey, I fully expect them to try and ground and pound us. If you noticed last week, JB actually tried this as well. I believe if not mistaken we had 5 touchdowns on only 16 plays. So, good gameplan just the execution was off for the devils. Monterey will play hard led by some big linemen and a rb in Bowman that doesn't quit. I just think we will get a great push up the middle and swarm their backs like they haven't seen. Two starting defensive tackles that play good gap assignment football at 6'5 290 and 6'8 335 are tough to run on in single A.

 

For SP, you do you. Make the plays. Play hard nosed. Be fundamental. If this happens, then you will be fine. There are so many play makers on this team it's ridiculous. Brayden and especially Richie can make plays through the air as well. Stack the box and see what happens with one of the two. With that being said, it doesn't matter if you have Usain Bolt back there if the line doesn't come to play. The boys that don't get the credit and attention. Tomorrow night and every game the rest of the season will depend on how well the line blocks. If the line is blocking well, cha-ching that scoreboard will light up. Pirates pull away late 3rd for good. 3 score game at half.

Random, but on YouTube I watched DCA vs SP in 1995. Those DCA linemen were MONSTERS!!! They had to go play college somewhere.
