Round 2: TC at Bledsoe

Soemone is now flagging posts because I am pointing out that players on TC have been busted for possession of marijuana on multiple occasions this year with little punishment and no suspension, including further arrests this very week.

I’m not defending their actions but I am and will defend this team, it’s players, and my town, if kids make mistakes that’s on them and I hope the mistake is a wake up call for them, but you my friend have no reason to get on here and try to embarrass these kids for their mistake, we all have made mistakes

Do you believe it is ok for a player to play on Friday that may or may not have been cited for marijuana possession during game week?

What would it matter ?  If didn’t happen on school grounds it’s none of the schools business.  It’s legal in every state but 7.

Hey Einstein... we are one of the 7. I don’t know if he did or not. I’m just questioning the PA announcer answer to the allegations that it is ok as long as it didn’t happen at school. Slippery slope

That is not my decision again if it doesn’t happen on school grounds or at a school function the school may or may not choose to take actions, touchy subject and I would say every school system would have different opinions on the matter

I don’t care if we are one of the 7. Did you drink a beer while you were in high school ?  You worrying about what a kid does outside of school is a slippery slope.

As A coach it's about teaching life lessons and holding kids accountable for their actions. In week 4 h20 has a star player miss practice and TC had a star player get a DUI .Webster sit h20s player at DC for 1 qtr and Satt played TC player every snap at gville. We have got to be here and love on these kids and not throw them away but we must also teach them so they want make the same mistake again.

It is not embarrassing them, it is shining a light on a situation that was swept under the rug in Trousdale.  Multiple starters were busted mid season and received little to no punishment, and now new players have been busted, so obviously there is a control issue, a discipline issue, and an integrity issue in Trousdale.  Couple that with a coach striking a player in previous years, a coach stealing from the school system, and a coach sleeping with students and you have some serious oversight issues in your school system.  Seems like it's all about that title up there.

At the end of the day, if this is true, the kid made a mistake and will pay for it through the law enforcement, so if it doesn’t affect the school why punish the kids further
