Brighton @ Henry County Round 2

Brighton defeats Dyer County tonight 48-28. So now Brighton will travel next Friday night to take on the Henry County Patriots. What's your thoughts on this game? Also Clarksville beat Munford so Clarksville will play Clarksville NE next Friday night.

My 2 picks for tonight were both wrong so there's that I really thought DC would pull this one off so we could get that playoff rematch.

Yeah me too I'm not surprised that Brighton won I'm more shocked that it was that big of a win. And Clarksville beat Munford wow!!

I expect the Big Red machine to handle business. However, the 48 on DC did surprise me. HC had some battles with Brighton when we were in the same region years ago. I don’t anything about them this year.

Yeah the 48 points surprised me too. Their last game before DC they scored 68!! So it is something to keep your eyes on. They have a really good RB that had 4 TDs last night. In 2017 Brighton came into Patriot Stadium and won and I believe in 2016 we had a nail biter with them at their place. I have so much confidence in this years Henry County team that I like our chances. Just dont take ANYBODY lightly! We learned that last year....

I looked at some film on Brighton and they have speed. They are very run heavy and their RB looks really good with speed and good vision. It looks like maybe a couple of different QBs have played the position this year and #8 looks like a good athlete with speed. Yeah they are definently a team that "could" give us problems if we dont bring it for 4 quarters. Their offense looks to be their strong suite as of late. The Henry County defense will need to play very well to keep those kids contained. I still like what we have but like I said in my previous post. DON'T TAKE THEM LIGHTLY!!! GO BIG RED!!!

Brighton has a very good running back, who is only a sophomore i might add, and runs a very good offense. I think HC takes care of business but it will be much closer than anticipated. 

 

also side note, have these 2 met since Brighton pulled the upset to make the semis a few years back?

This will be the first matchup since they pulled off that win in the quarterfinals in 2017

He’s a very talented RB. Dyer Co is also not very good defensively. I like our chances.
