I do believe that and look forward to watching Lake County’s skill players. Peabody is more talented, IMO. We will see how it unfolds, but I agree Lake County will be tough.

Lake county will definitely not be as easy as Peabody's faithful are expecting them to be. I've watched these guys workout individually all summer long as teammates and friends and there are plenty of studs in the skilled positions. I'm excited for the upcoming season as well. Our linemen are just as big as any line in this area. Our new quarterback ceasar is going to be a flash of lightning for opposing defenses I'm afraid

I haven’t seen any Peabody fans say it was going to easy.  Lake county’s line and defense will have to better this year. You guys gave up a bunch of points  last year

Look forward to it. Peabody coaches respect Lake County I know for a fact because I have heard it out of their mouth. Lake County is always a tough out. It will come down between Peabody and Lake County in the quarterfinals of the state, IMO.

That is where I give Peabody an edge. Defensive side of the ball and in the trenches. But I am basing it off of last years games. We will see how much they have improved. Wouldn’t suprise me one bit if Lake County really gives Peabody a serious challenge or upsets them. I am not predicting it, but Lake County is always a challenge and has a solid program year in year out.

Of course we gave up alot of points last year, simply because we were a very young team with a brand new coach. And tbh we still are a young team with very few seniors and a freshman class that defeated Ripley, covington and three oaks last year. Our future is very bright on the lake!
