I’d say Slatten from White County might have something to say about being the best player in the Upper Cumberland but I agree Sells is certainly in the conversation as is Strong from Clay County.

Totally agree. All 3 great athletes and good young men!  They represent their schools well and the UC!

I see where DC took them Bees to task the other night, so DC may be (may be) a little better than most thought.  Beating Watertown and making Upperman sweat a little ( at Upperman )   Good to see them

Tyner will continue to be in AA(as far as I know). Any other 8AA teams moving up(or down)?? The last 10-12 years have been good competition between 8AA and 6AA. Too bad the Districts are too far from each other to schedule home and home games!!

Looks like Jackson Co, Monterey, and Westmoreland will be new to that region.  Upperman, Livingston, Macon, DeKalb, and Cumberland are all gone up to AAA and will be in a district with Stone and White County.  Marion moves into your district (4) and Grundy moves to District 7.

      TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
