Those young men started hitting the weights last Monday. Some of them sent me pics of them working out together. The right mind frame and system are in place. It’s just evaluating the talent you have and finding the right fit. It will never be like it was. That’s part of the beauty of high school football. Change is a yearly constant. Position to position, team to team, region to region across the state. Even last year’s Cyclones were different than the 2020 version. It’s just fun to see how the coaches and players adjust and who can step up and be the difference. Exciting to say the least!!!

What is your obsession with Elizabethton and coach Witten?? I don’t get it....the only mention is by you... in fact any of your mentions always seem to be about Elizabethton.  SMH

elizabethton has been good except for witten's first year.  some of those teams are better than the last two in my opinion.  the only difference is 4a quality of teams to go through.  elizabthton has all was been strong but has done better with witten's brother training the talent.  they should win state quiet often and so should db  and sh

DB and SH are not really serious about football (and by the way neither is any other NET 5A/6A team)

Elizabethton won the last 2 4A Titles and unbeaten both times

however 4A has changed alot

And if Betsy wins it again, this one will be their toughest of the 3
