Hard for me to root for  Brady but a local kids playing on his team

Tanner Hudson former QB of the Lions plays for the Buccaneers ,3rd year in the league  practice squad year 1 and active roster years 2 and 3. Plays mostly special teams but they think enough of him that they kept a 5th Tight End on the active roster and resigned him in the off season. It is  really not normal for an NFL team and the HC of the Bucs only carried 3 tight ends ever  until last season when Tanner was number 4.  They signed Gronk this offseason and the numbers didn't look good but he is a real tough hard worker.

I really believe next year he will make a Jump on the depth Chart with them having some older and high paid guys doing a job he can get done if given the chance.

I came to brag for him and the The community.  Root for him if ya can. He does get in on offensive plays as well.#88

It was cool to see him get in the game and have his name called. He almost had that pass too. Much respect for him and what he has accomplished. NFL champion.

He made a nice play forcing Tyreek Hill out of bounds on a punt return I believe. Man I still wish Brady hit him in the corner. That would've been awesome.

This young man made memories to last a lifetime no doubt. Probably many more to come.

Yep in his 3 years there he gets more and more responsibility. It has been like watching a scrawny freshman grow into the starter his senior year. With their cap space the way it is. i look for him to get his best   shot yet in next years camp. they have 2 oft injured high dollar vets in Brate and OJ.  Thats obviously just a guess.

I remember watching him play basketball his junior and senior year. Could do it all. U could see all the tools. Lot of work to get to this level. Congratulations to him and the Camden community. Ya must be proud

He was very good at Basketball. Had all the tools most of us thought thats what he would do in college.

He didn't play Baseball in HS until his senior year and lead the team in HR BA and RBIs. Here is is with an slightly "off" Tom at the boat parade.

His position coach at Tampa Bay, Rick Christophel, played and coached at Austin Peay as an assistant and Head Coach. Rick also coached at Southern Arkansas where Tanner Hudson played.

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
