Tyner may not have had many apply and this guy was looking at the time. You just never know. But to answer your question I'll just post Turners win loss. I would personally think that the lower win seasons were just drops in talent. 2 double digit win seasons over the last 15 years, better talent than most of their opponents. 5 losing seasons in past decade. I will add there is more to being a success than wins or losses. Edited May 21, 2021 by Indian

Indian
Yes, but the talent compared to most in 2A was way above average. Does that mean he was bad, of course not before anyone starts whining. Just means the new coach may can equal the output at the least.

Sometimes you don't have both in the same kid. That said if someone equals the output and you keep them then why would you get rid of the first coach to begin with?

His first replacement had a lesser record at Brainerd. So why make the hire? And why do it in the fashion it was done.

I think Coach Turner was a good man but I do think Tyner underachieved with what talent they could put on the field every year. I worried with the right hire that the Rams could be a regular contender for titles every year. Is this the hire to do it? Not sure but I guess we will find out. Sequatchie33
Very underwhelming hire for Tyner! They could do better.
