I agree! A bowl game would be dang good but I catch myself thinkin heck we can get to 7 wins and that’s just the Vol fan in me

Oneida will play Harriman tomorrow night at Kingston at the their yearly jamboree.

A quick glance at Williamsburg from the Lexington Herald-Leader's Class A football preview where we're picked sixth in the state.  Also, more news from the Cumberland Valley Pigskin Classic is Corbin has picked up Christ School from Asheville to replace Rhea County as their opponent.  Safe travel to our side of the border next Friday night.  

6. WILLIAMSBURG

Head coach: Jerry Herron (16th season).

Last year: 6-3. District 8 champs, region champs. Lost 27-7 to Kentucky Country Day in state semis.

Quick look: Herron believes he has one of the best players in the state in dual-threat junior quarterback Sydney Bowen who threw for 1,555 yards and 19 TDs and rushed for 566 yards and another nine scores last season. The Yellow Jackets also return senior linebacker Chris Howard, who led the team with 114 tackles. Senior wideout Jayden Rainwater figures to be Bowen’s primary target as Herron looks for a few more playmakers.
