murvul did not volunteer to play up in the super 32. They had one school refuse to play giving the next school enrollment wise the spot. Murvil played in 4A for years and dominated. People said they where scared to play up(big boy football) for years.....the same way Alcoa is now. When the TSSAA went to 6 classifications, murvul had grown enrollment wise and after the 32 team and Zplan ended...... landed in 6A. 

Move Alcoa to 4A, 5A or 6A. They'll play! 

BTW, which team that murvul played that had 1000 more players?

Only after teams above them declined. You and I know this was an attempt to keep murvul out. It was pure luck that help murvul get it to the super32 and upset the apple cart. But, the point was MURVUL DID NOT OPENLY VOLUNTEER. They could had when in 4A. So they were no difference than Alcoa now.  They could'of...should'of moved up.
