If you think so. Farragut not a big as they usually are and that game came down to who had the ball last. Either defense could stop one another. I went to see Farragut and Powell scrimmage to see the Nolan kid. Powell did want they wanted to Farragut which Nolan didn’t play so I left. Was kind of surprised Farragut usually pretty good.

Farragut hung with West just fine. Let's not act like Powell is some great measuring stick for a team's abilities. They are incredibly talented yes but when they run into a well coached team like Farragut, West, or dare I say Walker Valley they crumble. Maryville's offensive line depth will be why they win this game but Powell as a measure is silly IMO.

O.k. if you saw so. West was with out the best receiver #1 got hurt in the first game of the year.

Didn’t you guys had several starters not playing in the game that year.

 I was shocked that Farragut scored as many points as they did against West  

Be even shockeder (East Tennessee Ainglish) if Maryville doesn't roll and hold Farragut to a couple of TDs max.

West best receiver was not playing in this. He got hurt in there first game.

Absolutely scary. Fairgut is always tough especially in that cracker box stadium. They have some odd streak of state championships in odd years and I’m sure they got some studs on the bump already committed to some SEC school. I hope murvil can keep it close.

To be fair, Farragut was missing a good amount of starters/key players,  too.
