CC actually did a decent job defending him last night, particularly in the 3rd quarter, but then Bishop does what he always seems to do and has a few of those back-breaking long runs. Karns ended up just putting him in the wildcat for most of the 4th quarter, because CC was spent.
Kruger77
Idk about yardage wise but jakaylon Taylor from Haywood has 15 touchdowns thru the first 4 games. I was say about 400-500 yards rushing so far

Pretty consistent. Game 5, Jamarion Dowell had 24 carries for 195 yards. For the season, in the 4 games we actually played, he has 792 total yards, averaging 9.2 yards per carry. eers
Just read that in 6A, Summits Destin Wade has 776 yards on 43 carries (18 ypc) and 12 TDs AND has thrown for 292 and 3 TDs… through four games. He had 273 and 4 TDs on 6 carries against Henry County in week one. Seems like the only thing that stopped him was the endzone.

osunut2
Bishop had 48 carries for 352 yards and 5 more TDs against Carter. That puts him at over 1800 yards rushing (8+ yards per carry) with 18 total TDs through 6 games. At this pace, he could break TSSAA single season records for carries (441) and rushing yards (3,357). I haven't been keeping track of his return yardage (he's got a bunch), but he also has a shot at the single season record for all-purpose yardage (3.630). Doubt he touches the TD record, but that'll depend on how many playoff games they get. I can't imagine that they'd get more than 1 or 2.

Bishop still has another year of high school eligibility, believe it or not. He rushed for 2,755 yards and 38 TDs his first two seasons. There are a number of career rushing records that he could challenge next season: Total rushing yards (9,442) Rushing attempts (1,183) Rushing TDs (114)
