CIty has 4/5A size playing 1A with athletes all over the field. If they played in 2A honestly not sure Peabody would have 3 peat. I not by no means saying TP aint cut like we cant act like they are just head and heels above this Fayetteville team. Its sad these two teams cant play for the state championship game because nobody from the east will come close to these two teams. I willing to bet you have never watched a Peabody game. Fayetteville is good no doubt. You guys need to be worried about mckenzie. If you guys make it that far. The same for us there’s a lot more games to be played. Oh yeah and every game Peabody plays out of region this year is up in classification. Southside the team Peabody beat this last week is 4a. I don’t know about beating the brakes off Watertown… it was 28-20 late in the third and if our guy hadn’t ran out of the end zone it would’ve been at least a 42 - 26 game. You can’t compare the 2019 LC team to what you guys beat last year in LC. Like comparing apples and oranges. Our line was just that good in 19. So get off that back to back mess! Hear a lot about that Mckenzie team never seen them but idk if they can match Fayetteville speed and size but playoff football is different anything can happen. Im pretty sure Fayetteville was missing a couple of their key players in that game as well which couldve made the outcome more different but you gotta play the hand your dealt. You should just stop there smh. Fayetteville Defense in 2019 would by far man handle LC in 2019 I dont think you realize how huge Fayetteville was then. There Dline was bigger than most 5a schools. Cornersville being ranked above Clay Co after getting routed by them last friday is appalling. South Pitt at 3 with having only played one game is crazy. Peabody is defending State Champs for 2a and until proven otherwise only a couple or 3 of the schools below SP can hang around until half time.
