Czar
Lamar is 7-8 in playoffs. Never made it out of 3rd Rd. Scott is 21-13 in Playoffs with 2 state champ appearances, 4 state semi appearances. Say less, Knox.

I'm friends with Lamar and I always do my best to stay unbiased because I pull for him and West so much. But it's undeniable Scott put West on the map. It took him a few years for sure but he changed that program. Coach Brown has done a great deal to sustain success since he's been there. Also for what it's worth I think a man's sum total is a lot more than one coaching stop that may not have gone spectacular. This is absolutely fair, and I'm glad to have a West fan chime in. Best of luck to the Rebels. Edited September 30, 2021 by FilmCzar

Clearly Scott did more with those kids at West than anyone since. It took Scott quite some time to turn West into a winner, but he ultimately did it. I would argue that he was sitting on a diamond mind which certainly helped. West has always had talent, but they underachieved for a number of years prior to his arrival, and even early in his tenure. Lamar Brown is no slouch though. Morristown West has been absolute trash since he left; prior to this season, Mo West won a total of 9 games after his departure. Brown has also been able to do what Jeff Harig couldn't after Scott's departure.

I just think recent numbers may disagree with you.

DIdn't mean to rile FilmCzar so much.

You'd say one Championship is better evidence of a great coach than the lifetime winning percentage?
