BatmanDevil
SH has a chance against Maryville, I would take 36 and SH for a quarter today.DB has a chance against Greeneville, being a Greeneville fan I'd take Greeneville and give 13 for a quarter today .Bottom line is ,I wouldn't bet on either game but DB probably has a lot better chance then SH whatever the score ends up. BatmanDevil
Toocool is saying what most are thinking about an East Tennessee team going to Maryville . It's been a while since a team not called Alcoa beat the Rebs from this part of the state. Those players are probably drawing their SS by now .Greeneville has lost a home game several times in the last twenty or so years but DB might want to pack a lot of ICE for their " Toocool chance tonight " but yes either team could pull off the win. Czar
I haven't been able to watch much footage of the Greeneville HS Greene Devils this year. Are they as good as what I have read in the media? If so, what are are their strong suits? I know that Coach Christian always does a great job of creating a physical, down hill running attack that may stress Greeneville and force them to play some different structured coverages and add an extra run defender to the core. If this happens, I expect D-B to take advantage of them in the pass game. I have, however, been able to view some Science Hill footage over the past few weeks. I must agree that they stand no chance vs. the Maryville Rebels. Maryville is on a collision course with Murfreesboro Oakland in late November. Coach Hunt has some absolute gutsy ball players on both sides of the ball. Science Hill does a good job of getting the ball in athletes hands. Coach Carter is always creative in his play design and utilization of multiple personnel groupings. However, Maryville's stingy defense will swarm and match their athletic ability. Their safety #1 is the real deal.

Greeneville is very fast and to me is just a matter of their QB and receivers connecting enough to also open up some running Lanes with a very talented running back they have.If that happens and Greeneville is able to get off the field on the defense side,it could be ugly.Your correct on the other hand if coach Christian and all those good coaches that I've known for a long time can keep the Devil defense out there and maybe cause a few turnovers,it could be a very close and tossup game.Greeneville also has a second QB who is just as effective in the passing game if not more so.So yes the Devils have size and speed as well as being greatly coached and some depth.DB is a 6a school and depth should however be to their advantage tonight. We will all find out in a few hours if something unforseen doesn't happen.

blazer1set
Guys, I was just having a little fun with some satire here. Of course there is always a chance a team has an off night, too many stupid penalties, etc. and doesn't win a game they are supposed to. BroadwayBarberShop
As WaCo would say, you are 100% correct.

Greendevil87
Maryville wins easily. Greeneville could have a tuff game only if they help DB some. With turnovers and penalties. My advice to DB is 3 yard's and a cloud of dust. To try and play ball control against Greeneville. And on defense they better get some pressure because if the QB has time to throw Greeneville wr's vs DB secondary is a mis match. Just like it has been every game Greeneville has played so Far
