This Friday night at Ray Hughes Stadium will be lit!  The Warriors are rested up and readily to dethrone the defending champs.  Better get there early because the Warrior Fans plan on filling the place.

LOL Riverdale's winning streak comes to an end this coming Friday.  After watching Riverdale play Smyrna, Riverdale is dreaming big if they think they can play with Oakland.  Oakland 35 Riverdale 17

I'll take Oakland in this one.  I think Riverdale's defense is solid, but Oakland is solid everywhere. Oakland 31-14.

I think it will be closer than that.  The Warriors play physical ball on both sides of the line of scrimmage.

While I don't see a running clock for Oakland this week, I do think the Pats will dispatch of the Warriors in fairly short fashion.  I know Riverdale is rested and Oakland isn't.  I don't think it will help that much.  Oakland is tested and hardened by some of the absolute best upper tier programs in the state and also what is considered one of the better 6A programs in Mississippi.  Riverdale is good no doubt but not upper tier good.

Your battle tested comment is a difference maker in my opinion. Riverdale has only played two teams with winning records.
