He was talking crazy.

No, actually he talks with wisdom and knowledge of a long life in Oak Ridge. He is a gentlemen due all of ours' repect. He has earned that respect. The one thing he taught me is to look for the good in others. He did this by building a relationship with the former Riverdale poster Lost Old Dad ( RIP ). He did this at a time OR and RHS were heated rivals. I hated the Warriors but now just respect. I am learning to like Kingsport but have a long ways to go with Farragut.

Maybe, I could like you.

Willie, I've never met you brother but I consider you a friend.  Have enjoyed talking to you these last couple of years on here.

Same here brother. Who knows, maybe a NE Tennessee team you like will make it to Chattanooga for State and we can meet. My plan is to go to every State Finals game if possible.

RWR!  Willie born in Oak Ridge lives in Hixson / Chattanooga now.

Well the way it is looking, we very well may be down there next week as it looks like we'll have to travel to Bradley Central in round one unless we can beat the Toppers.

Thanks for the kind words Willie but I've learned after many years on "The T" to ignore posters that are just running their mouths to agitate other folks.  When nobody responds  to them that takes the fun out of the whole deal for them. And they go away.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
