I agree.....it takes time to build a program.  They are closing the gap, they had a lot of close losses this year....a few more breaks here or there and a 1-9 season could have easily been 5-5.  It is moving in the right direction.

Careful there, they'll read this and be dancing in the halls down there next Monday. 3 and 7 at the worst should have been the record this year. These last two games of the year were against two of the worst 6 A teams in East Tennessee besides Heritage. Time for new direction before this thing plunges into the same hole Heritage is in and will never get out. If Heritage were a person it would resemble a diabetic in the worst case possible. If WB were a person it's doctor would say you have actually crossed the line but with some major turn around in your diet this may be your last chance before you end up like your brother, poor ole Heritage.

    • Siegel Middle School is looking for a Head Wrestling Coach. This will be the 3rd year that the school has had a program, but the Stars have had a middle school team for a while now. This is program is established and has a club team (Stars) feeding it with wrestlers.    Siegel High School is looking for an assistant coach. Again, this program is growing with talent every year. This past year we had 2 state placers.    If interested you can send an email to starstnwrestlingclub@gmail.com or freemand@rcschools.net

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
