Dang! I get to introduce the last game of the Season for the Wildcats. It is an honor!

Basically, in a nutshell, who wins plays the following week at McMinn County in the Playoffs. The losing team gets to travel to Rhea County

OR would probably do better against the Indians. Rhea County poured the offense all over 6-A Bradley Central.

Get nasty Wildcats or lose to Campbell County!  Who say WIN? Wildcats SAY WIN!

Cherokees. Braves. Indians. Redmen. Native Americans or whatever. They live in Athens, TN and we will whoop a*** them if they get in our way.

Dang! I'm stuck on Pacific Standard Time and feel rotten. Oh, well, might as well share the rotten feelings to all.

My apologies to all the Native Americans on CoachT, whoever you are.

Campbell County presents problems as they throw the ball pretty well and play OK defense, not as good as DB or Karns, but any defense on the field this season seems to be hard for OR to score on. A win sends OR to McMinn County, the land of the big and chunky Cherokees, who float back and forth from 5A to 6A and back. They had a really good team last season and got Covided Out in the playoffs and DB got their place. A loss to the Cougars sends OR to Rhea County, the best team in 5A below I-40, they have really improved over the course of the season and had a huge win against Bradley Central last Friday night in which they put up a ton of points. Its a long haul down 27 to Evensville and it won't be as much fun as last years trip, so OR, needs to beat the Cougars for sure.

Good luck willie  we won't give you the game and I promise it won't be a whooping if oak ridge comes down here

Good to hear from you Haydiboy. I have respect for the Cherokees and would expect nothing but your best. I actually would be coming UP to see you since I live in Hixson, TN.

Good luck this coming Friday night.

OR has the athletes to simply outrun CC, if they can get them out in space. But that's obviously been a huge issue all season long. With both teams already clinching playoff spots, you have to wonder who wants this one more. CC will have zero trouble getting up for this game. I question what OR's mindset will be, especially given the season they've had.

I'm not quite ready to pick CC outright, but OR better get their mind right because if they don't, the Cougars will win this one.

Unfortunately, these aren't our daddies OR.

I have not seen it mentioned yet but doesn't CC have a very talentd RB?

Dig in deep and grind Wildcats!  Do it for the city. Do it for your school. Do it for all the Wildcats before you. Do it for your family. Do it for yourselves.

Just darn get it done! WOO HOO!

WtW is always a Wildcat fan. RWR!

Think oak ridge caps off the season with a shoot out 35-28 over Campbell county

It took me seven weeks to get...we don't have an offense. As much as I love the Wildcats on offense they just haven't jelled together. However, maybe this is the week we BREAK OPEN THE BANK AND GET BIG MONEY!

They do, but I'm not sure how healthy Allen is. He got pretty banged up against Clinton, and I don't think he's played at all since then. Granted their schedule has something to do with it, but they haven't scored more than 14 points in a game since he got hurt.

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
