What a great time of year in small rural communities and small urban schools alike ! Should you be lucky enough to be a fanatic of a playoff bound team congratulations, if your team isn’t headed there don’t be down, be proactive ! What ? Proactive ? We didn’t play good! Coaching was lack luster! Talent was down? Was any of that true? Maybe!!!! But be present if you have the ability, help a coach ! Offer to help in anyway you can, not just to win but to build a program that’s relevant in your community, remember, kids are always watching us , do we win with humility? Lose with grace ? Show up when it’s pouring? Love your team when it not their night ? Just put in work like you want work out in for those Dubs !!! This life isn’t getting any easier and we are all possibly one breath from our last !!! Show up and do for other unconditionally, yep that goes for your highschool athletics, be the one, don’t wait, just do something, the smallest gesture can change a life !

Whichever team from the East that makes it to Chattanooga should be relatively healthy to face any of these three after they've beaten each other up.  Survival of the fittest in the West!
