District 7AAA

Predictions??? Heard, from the media day that coaches/media polls looked something like this. What does each team have coming back? Hate the old District 8AA is gone. New district though should be good as all teams are basically in the UC. 

1 - White County

2 - Cumberland County

3 - Stone Memoria

4 - Livingston Academy

5 - DeKalb County

6 - Upperman

7 - Macon County

just my 2 cents here:  I'd rank them like this... 

1. Cumberland

2. Stone

3. Livingston

4. White

5. Dekalb

6/7  Upperman/Macon

 

I just think White lost too much to be favorited in this district.   I know LA and Stone lost quite a bit as well.   All I know for sure is it will be a fun race to watch down the stretch.

White is pretty much loaded! Got a kid dunking like crazy! Lot of height! Lots of talented young ones coming up also. This could be mitchells best team in 4 years.

I’d go with ..

1. Cumberland County

2. White County 

3. Livingston 

4. Stone

5. Dekalb

6. Upperman

7. Macon 

This will come down to White and Cumberland for the Championship. My guess is Cumberland County for the win.

Im gonna back up on this statement. From what ive seen so far just an average team. They will get better. All the big boys are riding the bench.

Congrats to White County coach Eric Mitchell on getting his 500th win against Upperman last week.

I’ve been following some of the games. I had picked Cumberland as the #1 seed in the district. I’m going to change that to White County now and move Cumberland down the 2nd or 3rd. White County is well coached and I believe they can pull out the win and Cumberland seems to lack in that department. Smhs is more impressive than I thought. They are very well coached and may surprise us all at the end.

I was surprised to see White/SMHS score.  Stone may be better than expected this year.  I watched them play york close twice this year and they seem to be improving. That district could get interesting.

White County is pretty solid defensively, but we're struggling to find any offensive firepower.

Well I guess that is understandable considering they lost Slatten   He is hard to replace.  Stone has some pretty good young players.
