No

Yes...Gracie Hearon is BACK!   In her first action of the season, Gracie poured in 10 points and hustled her heart out to prove she is a true grinding Lady Wildcat. So proud of you Gracie. You are an inspiration to Oak Ridge.

Keep getting better. RWR!

Gracie coming back is huge for Lady Cats.We needed some size and plus she is a great teammate. Its amazing she was able to come back and play and Im so happy for her.She was working really hard in off season

Good victory tonight over the Bobcats.  We were able to play deep into the bench pretty early tonight.  Our starters should be rested and ready to go Monday evening vs. Powell.

Should be a battle to see who the real champ is.I know all area teams are not feeling good about all the young talent at Oak Ridge and know they better win while they can.It would be a huge win if this team can win the district tourny Monday

You better get them now or it will be several years before you get a chance to stay on the court with Oak Ridge. These girls remind me of the 1990's Lady Wildcats. Jennifer Wilson, Leah Bryd, Keke Stewart, Leah Sharp, Erin Young,  Barnard, all the McGinnis sisters and the dozen others who wore the Cardinal and Gray across the country ranked by USA Today. Man. I wish I had all my Basketball and Football Programs from back in the day.

Well, beat Powell and keep Rolling Wildcats Roll.

It makes the path to state easier, or even necessary.  You want to play Farragut first, then Bearden.  We definitely need to be on our game come Monday.

Please, don't say the "B" word. :-P   I have been watching them all season long and they have me worried. Not saying we can't beat them because we can.

Actually, Willie B. has me worried the most because they are our next opponent. They have won a lot of games and played some tough District rivals.

I have a world of faith in Coach Taylor and the other coaches to have our special team ready to go,

RWR!

Agreed, at this level, nothing is automatic.  However, we are playing very good ball right now.  I like our chances to the finals.  But yes, one game at a time.

Something to note as well, we rotated nine in the game against Powell.  Resting Porter gave her fresh legs to sink those free throws down the stretch.

Well nobody seems to care but I do! Our girls got beaten by a very good Farragut team last night to end their season. We played well on defense but just couldn't overcome the size of the Farragut players. They were tall. Plus there was a "lid" on our basket all night as we couldn't get anything to go in!

Thanks for the great season and we enjoyed watching our Lady Wildcats!!

That was a struggle all season for us.  Yes, great season and looking forward to what our young ladies will do next season.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
