Yeah now it's abundantly clear you have no clue what you're talking about. Westview will likely be a final 8 team again this year without Simpson.  They have plenty of talent in the pipeline including probably another 5* Simpson QB. Westview could've beat Hampton with #12 at qb and idk if that kid even ever played QB.

final 8 in 2A? you sure you wanna set the bar that high lmao. i mean. thats 85 Bears man.

Shoot if they could have kept their enrollment #s up to where they were from the 2017 to 2021 at 619,they could have spanked Alcoa, instead of  dropping 110 kids to 509 and still dressing more players. Some things just don't add up. They will be one of if not the best in 2a again, then again ,they may lose another 100 kids, shoot they may be 1a when the younger Simpson kid is able to play.

To be fair every single high school in weakley county lost from their enrollment in the timeframe you named. Not to mention Camden went from 614 to 488 right along with Westview and I just don't see anyone with suspicious motives about that. Just seems like sour grapes if we're being honest. Imo there is almost no scenario Hampton walks away with gold. If it wasn't Westview it would've been Cam Miller and MAHS or Huntingdon. Riverside would probably be the closest

All about matchups, MAHS was the most talented team, they just made way to many mistakes.

And dress more players with 110 less students, all the one's that left must have been girls, then again, didn't the girls win state in basketball.

Hampton took the opening drive and rammed it down Westview's throat, including two 4th down conversions. the first 5-6 Westview scores were all Ty, the first 2 throws were a dime for a TD with almost perfect coverage from the Hampton DB,  and a DPI which put them on the goal line. took Hampton right out of their offense. take out ty its a back and forth. how does Westview score. with no ty. he was running. he was throwing. he was doing it all.

now stop wasting my time with your stupidity

Lmao needed multiple fourth down conversions just to score on one drive and you think that's an indicator that Hampton would've done that the rest of the game? I also must've missed when ty played defense and held Hampton to two scores total but yeah in Imaginationland they win by 3 scores. Gotcha bud lmfao

correct- you did miss it because you're a stupid person. hampton was a ball control running team. giving up 3 TDs in 3 plays caused them to abandon their game plan. i know this is difficult for someone who considers south park to be a significant cultural contribution

I would love to have played this game without the multi unforced errors by Hampton. We didn't have the DBs to stop em but had we been able grind it out (like the first drives) and not move away from game plan, it would have been a much closer, more entertaining second half IMO.

Mistakes killed us and it is what it is.

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
    • It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.
    • No movement on Chester? South Gibson? Gibson County?
    • Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. I wrote about many of the issues here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/11/17/grounds-for-investigation-and-suspension/ I interviewed Winfree after she was dismissed from the team and wrote about it here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/12/01/a-new-interview-with-sable-winfree/ Winfree had been on teams in Warren County since the fourth grade and never been dismissed from a team. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.
