2022 Marshall County Tigers

What is everyone's opinion about this years team?  New QB in the mix,  Sr RB should be leader of the O. Good young players  on Defense that played alot last year. Should be a very good team.

The RB is a good player and should have a good season. Very well coached team.  They should get one of the playoff spots this season.

I think MC will definitely make the playoffs. With Tullahoma and Montgomery Central losing 22 seniors each the district will change some some.

They have a very nice thing going with that program. I’m just wondering though, if they don’t play for a gold ball in the next few years, will they make a coaching change? Granted, there has been more success (it seems) and stability since the early to mid 80’s.

Giles is 3A and MC is 4A. Our region has 9 teams in it and can only play 2 non region games.

MC has brought in a new defensive coordinator this year.  I feel that MC defense will be better this year than it has been the past couple of seasons.  They may be what carries this team in the first few games of the season to get the offense going, especially with a new quarterback (a very talented one at that).

They will end up playing them again sometime in the future (too big of a rivalry not to), but since the schedule has been made out a few years in advance they haven't played each other the past couple of years.
