I’ve not heard anything, probably because I haven’t tried to hear anything. With Ingle being AD also now, it wouldn’t surprise me because he likes a tough schedule.  Personally, I think it would be cool to see just two classes in D2, but sounds like that type of decision got delayed…. 

I’ve really enjoyed it in our other sports like baseball.

I personally don't think beating teams with a national roster versus teams with local rosters is that impressive. I mean, I guess if that's what gets you your thrills, sure... but I would want to compete against teams who are national teams like me if I were the coaches and players. At least McCallie and Baylor are closer competition in AAA.

Does lipscomb have a national roster?  Please elaborate.

They beat two public school teams and now they should play teams who are only national? Makes no sense. Keep playing two out of state powerhouses every year and play AAA. Or like I said play AA and make CPA cry for not being better at their own game.

I thought that was common knowledge?? Your coach after a game last year said that all the kids from 30 different states or whatever and 2 countries came together as one... 

Are all of those kids that play for Lipscomb born and raised in Davidson and surrounding areas?

I think that's true and I take it as a compliment.  my family has made plenty of great friends from all over who were not at LA when we started.

Not really..a couple maybe if you count Hank and the new safety…but to compare LA to McCallie, Baylor, IMG, etc is not an accurate comparison….most if not all of LAs “national” kids over the last few years have been families that moved to Nashville and chose Lipscomb…not moved to Nashville because of Lipscomb.  It doesn’t matter either way but those are the facts.

People move here from all over and somehow it's always the private schools that get accused of stuff.  Chris Parsons moved to Ravenwood from Texas....one of the kids competing for the BHS starting QB job moved here from Ann Arbor, MI.  The good QB from Page last year moved here from New Mexico or somewhere like that?  The one whose brother is the Michigan QB....seems like private schools benefitting no more than anyone else on Nashville being a popular place to live.  Nothing wrong with any of the above, glad they are all here in Middle TN.
