92, you think Clinton is the better team based on what?  A win over sorry ole WB and AE (all their players are at Bearden, West and Fulton).  Just curious.  You're coach thought Clinton was the better team in each of the last 2 yrs.  I just don't get it.

oridgecat, don't have a dog in the hunt, but really looking forward to this one. not here to disagree with your quote, just needed one to bring my thought forward. Every coach will come out and say his team is better, do you expect the opposite?  I don't know who wins this game, but folks need to pay attention to what the Clinton qb has done to this point. I know, it was against 2 teams that struggle, but 24 for 34 passing, 2 interceptions, 504 yds???  He's quick, moves around very well. He will be a problem for OR! It is going to be a battle, hope I can find some where to watch it.

Oh yeah, every coach says that, no doubt. BUT, when they claim they had the better team AFTER getting beat 38-6 a few years ago? Well, you’re not thinking in reality at that point. That’s what Clinton’s Coach tried to say a few years ago after the game on the radio that was 38-6 in OR’s favor. “The better team lost”. I mean, come on lol. That’s what ORC is referring to.

I think all the games are streamed on YouTube…prep radio.

I love it when a team like Clinton has been down and out for so long and you hear people go on over there that it can't be rebuilt with a mile long of excuses. A bunch of crummy hires was the problem or Gaylor wouldn't have won over there.

 Barney,

Gaylor did a really good job for Clinton. They pretty much never did hire a real good HC since then is their problem. Maybe this current HC turns out to be a good HC, time will tell.

I was told they thought it was his collar bone. I certainly hope not. Sending prayers!

Unfortunately it is just that. Not sure how long, but will be out the next few weeks for sure. It will hurt because both starting corners are now not playing and it’s hard to replace him at the wr spot too. The motto for the team, is next man up. Here we go again. Excited to see what might happen when everyone gets healthy and plays on the field at the same time. Prayers for all the guys that are out.

I hate that for that young man more than anything. He is a great guy and tremendous athlete. Praying for a speedy recovery.

    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
    • hey goat! how’s monterey looking this year?!
    • several people actually. they said “snoball, do you know who railbird81 is on coacht?” I said, “never heard of her.” they said, “you ought to check it out they’re getting fired up on there like the old days.” well, you can imagine my disappointment when I came here expecting sharp, witty banter and all i found was more akin to toddlers slap fighting. and what looks like 1 guy/gal talking to themselves with multiple accounts.
