Better team won tonight for sure. Halls came to play.  I think we were down 4 or 5 starters total I think 3 were olineman it stings, heck it sucks. But as Ray from Trailer Park Boys would say...Way she goes, boys.  Now we have to decide whether to feel sorry for ourselves or face the freight train next week head on and see how it shakes out.

Life is a ###### ain't it.

Lol ok I'll just say I told you so after they play

Never said halls would win (note the question marks) but who had them beating WC? But Humboldt is an average team at best. Score comparison you lost to Halls by a TD and beat Humboldt by a TD (again scores mean nothing) but who actually gave that bunch a chance at a 2-3 seed with wins over LC and Humboldt? They are in and congrats to the tigers

We were at full strength against Humboldt. We were not against Halls. At one point our kicker was playing linebacker, he actually did pretty good so that's not an excuse but I've never actually seen him play on the defense. All I'm saying is I think Humboldt will have something for Halls and I don't think Greenfield is chopped liver either.

Halls has already beaten Greenfield this year. West Carroll to me is just hard to figure out this year

This Jackson Christian Fan just wants to say congratulations to the Halls Tigers! I miss our road trips to Halls, such a beautiful drive over and what a great atmosphere for High School Football. I do believe we made three consecutive trips over there. Not sure why that happened but I didn't mind. Go Luck rest of the way.  Go Eagles!

Again they are in the playoffs! And I think could possibly be the 3! Again I’m just proud for those kids

Actually life is great. ;)

You really let football games determine your outlook on life? Sad way to live.

You use the technique of saying you are not making excuses and then you go on and you made excuses.  You have no idea what players Halls had in weeks 1-4 that may have been out for this game.  You just belly ache and whine and cry about W.C. supposedly having 4 players out which, even if all 4 could have been in the game that does not necessarily mean that W.C. would have won.  Halls botched the opening kickoff, turning the ball over, so did not get the ball to start the first or the second have and still won by a comfortable margin.

Grow up and put your big boy panties on Cartman.

    • Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. I wrote about many of the issues here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/11/17/grounds-for-investigation-and-suspension/ I interviewed Winfree after she was dismissed from the team and wrote about it here: https://bdnewsletter.news/2023/12/01/a-new-interview-with-sable-winfree/ Winfree had been on teams in Warren County since the fourth grade and never been dismissed from a team. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.
    • What is the hold up here? I have not heard anything in weeks. Are they waiting for the right person or is something else going on?
    • Per usual, we'll be hard to beat in the regular season, I'm sure. It's the post season that I'm more worried about, specifically the coaches. Maybe they'll be able to make some adjustments that will keep the momentum in our favor. How's Grays recovery coming along?
    • Something don’t add up here a college coach is not going to turn away a good player they need just because they didn’t get along with their high school coach
    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
