UC welcomes Ripley to Tornado Alley

Tornados look to continue winning as they welcome Ripley to Tornado Alley. Ripley has some athletes and UC will not overlook them. Time to ground and pound on Offense and stick them in the mouth on Defense. Part 2 of the regular season begins. Go Tornados!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This will be a nice warmup for Westview in 2 weeks. Tornadoes have to clean up some penalties and keep the ball off the ground. Ripley will be a lot tougher than GC, Lake Co, or TCA but UC should win this one.

They will be ready. The penalties will need to be cleaned up some but the fumble is the first of the year for a UC back.

With those stats let’s go Tornadoes put your foot down on the gas and add big numbers to those PF. Defense continue hitting them in the mouth and keep those PA down.

This has been a real fun match up over last two years. Last year comes down to overtime and uc wins. Year before that uc wins on a last second 35 yard field goal. Ripley will bring athletes but UC will be coached up and ready to rock and roll. Discipline wins this next week. Go UC.

Union City by 40 or 50.Riley has only beaten teams with losing records.Northside 8 to 0 who lost to Obion Central  Central 24-0.And think Southside who lost to Trenton by a larger score than to Ripley.Union City with running clock.

Thanks for the confidence you show in our team. I hope we can put out another great performance like your predict. We are not overlooking them nor any other of our future opponents. Still have many doubters which our kids love. Not only are we looking to make Statement win but looking to make Statement Season.

If Union City can cut down on the penalties and play normal ball control, Union City will be conditioned better and should be fine. Union City typically a second half team will be prepared and ready. We expect a physical game with many athletes on the other side of the football.

UC wins by 3 TD’s in this one Ripley is a lil better than average. I’ve got UC playing fo a Gold ball come Dec. I don’t think Huntingdon can come close!

That’s what I hope for but as I have said many times, our kids play and prepare for 1 Friday night at a time. They know the season goal but they also understand that they must mentally prepare for each weeks goal to be able to reach that season goal. They will be prepared. The defense will be ready to hit them hard and shut down the run and the DB’s have adjusted and will cover well. The Offense has depth at every position and is able to swap out to give rest for the ones that need it. This offense will get their yards and touchdowns.
