Biggest question is WHY.  Its really about how many  players any given school can gather from other schools. MASE Is Great example, Its not so much size of school, more about how much talent any schools can draw in from nearby schools.  This goes all the way up but not as big a deal in the largest schools. Look at who played Oakland and had a good chance of beating them last season, CPA and Lipscomb, Those 2 are not very large schools, They just have kids from several different schools.

Class 1a is loaded with some very good teams. There are 5 -6 teams in 1a that could win 2a as well. Am I wrong?

Im not sold on that, I think the top of 2A would give the top of 1A all they wanted this year.  With the exception of McKenzie, who is the favorite in 1A and would be the favorite in 2A.  Hampton, Tyner, Union City and Huntingdon would be great matchups vs Fayetteville, MASE, Trenton, Dresden.

There is no difference in McKenzie and Fayetteville far as talent goes (Fayetteville may even have  the edge there) Dresden is probably equal to Union City  and Peabody is improving and overcoming injuries. MASE is an unknown but probably more individual talent than all of them

    • I havent kept up with Keeton since he went to Oakland, so hearing he is in a BOE role now, that may trump him coming back.  Rennard on the other hand. That dude is a Man Builder! And he was cut loose this spring from Scotts Hill. Heard him in a interview a few month back and he inspired me. He needs to be back home in the Purple & Gold, regardless of if he is HC or not or even if he doesnt coach at all, his presences will improve the environment. But Again, I have no clue if he would even be interested.

    • Shoulders from Macon co.  A creasy protege. Has the best coached team in the area as of late. Not much shot to win a state title at Macon but could very well be a contender with the talent coming up through the peewee and junior high ranks in TC I hear. He my dark horse candidate. trousdale co fans could also brag to their neighbors that they talked their best coach into coming to TC on a year of such high expectations at Macon co.
