You all are leaving out the teams that are choosing to play up. Clarksville Northwest and Kenwood are supposed to be coming up. That is going to change things up. Any other schools coming up?

Have they officially notified the TSSAA of their intentions to move up to 6A?  The deadline to do this is next Monday the 24th, until then what they've put out is all we have to go on.  They didn't choose to do that 2 years ago and other than the fact that the other Clarksville schools are 6A I don't know that I would want to play up.

Local region and easier to make the playoffs than if you get stuck with Beech, Hendersonville, Henry County, and Springfield. That’s typically 4 losses for the Clarksville schools. Not saying that would be the case, but a region with 6 Clarksville teams seems easier to me.

I can see that logic.  If they do move up, it affects 3 teams in my scenario.  Coffee Co moves to 4, Gallatin bumps over to 3, and McGavock moves to 6.  Here's what it would look like:

3

Cookeville

Gallatin

Green Hill

Lebanon

Mt Juliet

Wilson Central

4

Blackman

Coffee Co

Oakland

Riverdale

Rockvale

Siegel

Warren Co

Clarksville

Kenwood

Northeast

Northwest

Rossview

West Creek

6

Antioch

Cane Ridge

Lavergne

McGavock

Smyrna

Stewarts Creek

7

Brentwood

Franklin

Independence

Overton

Ravenwood

Summit

I think that would be pretty accurate actually.

No change for now.  Maybe schools can still petition to be move up?  The article I read said they voted "no change".  So apparently their choices were change or no change.  They voted no change.  lol

That means there will still be six near-equal classes in football, four in baseball, etc. It doesn’t mean that schools won’t move around.
