Yea I knew Waverly would handle things in regular season, just didn’t think we could compete deep in playoffs. I’d be happy if Waverly can win the region Friday vs Fairview and at least make it to East coming to Waverly in the quarters. I think Smith will be tough to beat and I know East will be. Looking forward to heading back to 2A where Waverly belongs

Just wondering y nobody has mentioned tHE L "BIG EAST NASTY " took friday

The big L was to a 6A school, Riverdale. SC is having a great season. Not sure they have played a team quite like EN though. Should be a good game for at least a half.

The school they played was three classes bigger and they hung with them for the most part!

I just don't think it's really surprising that East Nashville lost to Riverdale. I honestly wouldn't have been surprised if it went the other way either, but I expected Riverdale to win the game.

Alcoa has had no problem beating 6A teams.

Smith County to win at home they need this more, but East Nashville goes Further

I see Alcoa taking the gold ball for the 8th straight year.

Alcoa lost by 3 points to probably the best public school team in the state this year. East Nash lost 30-12 to a .500 6A team that's not going to even make the playoffs. Difference.

Only one Alcoa. Not too many schools can consistently play up and have the success they have. No team in this thread is on Alcoas level. So yeah, whatever. EN lost a game. Is SC undefeated?

Lol you couldn’t wait for EN to lose. They are 5-1 against 5A, 6A, and private this year. Lost to the #1 player in the state. See you December 2nd
