I was at EHS in 80 an 81 when we shared a home an home as part of the Big 7 Conference. . Great memories of Vanhuss

Just getting out hustled by a more talented team. Not sure when and where you’re alma mater is but i think we can relate on the History.

I was there earlier to push Tullahoma to victory.  That was a great win for their program. 

My allegiances were torn btw Betsy and the Wildcats. . I graduated from EHS in 82 but have worked and lived in Tullahoma the last 24yrs. I know both Coach Witten and Olive well enough to say we’re friends. . Hated to see either Lose Honestly. But I was a little Disappointed with the Cyclone Fans. . 
They broke the record in attendance the previous 2 years but we’re Clearly Absent in 2021. . Whereas Tullahoma brought the Whole Town and part of Estill Springs and Lynchburg. . The best team Won and I’m glad Olive got to go out on Top.

Hate arrogance, if either of my kids ever acted like jerks, I'd jerk um in place fast. At the end of the day, none of us are all that special, we're all just human and we need to count our blessings daily.

Brother . . You are certainly an unassuming Man and are more than Humble. 
Your kids are lucky to have you as a role model. . That’s the problem with kids these days. Raised in mostly single parent homes with a mom who unfortunately wasn’t blessed with good parents. I’ve always heard that being a good parent is a “learned skill”. IF you’re blessed to have great parents then you have the skills to instill those qualities in your own kids. Too many kids today don’t have good parents. Or a fortunate few. It’s a part of a breakdown of the typical nuclear family in the 60’s and 70’s.

My dad played for coach Van Huss @ Hampton and afterwards they remained close friends for life.
