What Coach Derrick, who represents the Nolensville program, had to say about WC.

Good season WC.  Build your defense and get a more balanced offense and you'll be an even tougher out next year.

You are wasting your time 85. Both of them are probably just youngs kids a trolling. They will never show respect for another team nor will they admit how good dowell is even though the whole state knows. Karma will get them. It always does.

I said he was good. I also said he’s not the best in the state or the third best in the country. He had one of the best statistical seasons in TN since they started keeping stats, but understand there is a difference.

As I said earlier, he would have been the third best back at the game I was at last night, not third in the state. Act like a knowledgeable fan base and say “congratulations on a heck of a season”, not like you’re a powerhouse program.

AND for the record I’m not some young kid trolling. I’m just tired of everyone looking at monstrous stats and saying a kid is the best because of those stats, while others that are better but aren’t in track meets on a weekly basis are overlooked. Dowell was a good HS running back with a great season. He’s not an SEC guy and he’s not a Sunday guy. There’s no shame in that, just let it be what it is.

I did say congrats on a heck of a season. I stand by my comments. He will win mr. Football and he will get offered by a power 5 school or sec school by December and he will play on Sundays! It is what it is.

He should win Mr. Football with the season he had. No argument on that.

If he plays on Sundays, I’ll take you to his first game…

Let's try to settle this once and for all.  White County had a tremendous season, as I told several of their fans exiting the game.  Their two talents on offense are TREMENDOUS high school football players, are either SEC level talent, no, but there is nothing wrong with that.  They are still excellent players with a ton of talent.  The difference in the game is that you need a team, 11 players on both sides.  I said before the game if Nolensville got 1 stop per quarter they would win, they got the stops, and they got the win.  How many times did Nolensville punt?  ZERO!  The team put up 14 points each quarter, despite running 1/2 as many plays as WC.  Why?  Because White County had no answer for the offensive talent on NHS.  I saw a post earlier about how WC scored more on NHS than anyone all year, this is true, because WC had two truly exceptional offensive players, BUT NHS also scored the most they had all year, WHY, the sub-par defense played by WC.  It was a great game, close in the 4th quarter, but NHS never trailed.  At the end of the day the question was which defense had the better chance to stop the opponents offense, and that answer was clearly Nolensville.  Now, onto Page the Rematch.
