Seymour Coach Open

Looks like the head coach position is now open at Seymour, not sure the circumstances.

Always wondered what the problem is at Seymour. I know for a fact over the past 6 years I've seen 3 kids from there go to Maryville and another go to Alcoa and everyone of them were starters at those schools. For parents not to want their kids going there something must not be to good plus all the coaching turnovers since Householder left the coaching ranks leaves you thinking.

It is puzzling, the volleyball and girls soccer coach both resigned this past week as well.....

Seymour promoted their defensive coach Patrick Clark to the Head coach position.

Hopefully he succeeds and doesn't get run off by the parents like his predecessor apparently did.

Doesn’t help him that Bearden already stole their upcoming QB. May the odds be in his favor.

I’m just surprised Barney admit that Maryville got 3 kids from Seymour and Alcoa only got 1. He has said 100 times on here that Alcoa gets all the transfers and Maryville hardly gets any. Here comes the back peddling though….

I'm not saying they broke any rules but it's funny that kids are coming from 40 mlesi away to play there at Alcoa. Not only that this is not your average good football players but the best Carter High has to offer
