Page VS Giles County

Curious to other’s thoughts on this matchup, particularly Giles County fans. Not necessarily a rivalry of years past but there is much history here. Now, we are losing from last year’s and the year before championship game teams. Not going to be plug and play as before.

However, Giles has been to the ‘ship a couple of times and won one, many years ago. We are 5A with Giles being 3A.  Naturally, we should out talent them but I know almost nothing about them. I still feel this should make a good game. Who has what and why?

Giles is talented but Page has more depth. Page secondary needs work also if they want to make another run

Its gonna be a tough matchup for the Bobcats.  The Patriots are good.

Can’t believe it’s already here again. Sure came fast, but excited it here. Time to play the first regular season. Excited to see this edition of the Patriots. I know they’re excited for the challenge and to play some football again. Coach Rathbone has done an incredible job leading this program and it’s been a fun time the last few years. It’s going to be fun to see how this years does, and I know he and still will have those boys ready to play. 
 

Does anyone know anything about Giles? They were really good last year. Did they lose a lot of starters?

giles should be a good team this year but i think page gets the win by 2 scores

Smart move right there by GC making page burn their last time out. It's been a good game. All tied up at 27 with 0:48 left in the game.

Page pulls it out in OT. GC jumped on the extra point attempt and Page decides to go for 2. From where I was sitting it looked like GC stopped them short but the ball carrier just got the ball over the line. Heck of a game. I hat someone had to lose that one. Both squads are gonna be tough later in the year.

This was one of the best games in the state last night. Both teams were a little sloppy but played hard. These teams will win a lot of games and make deep runs in the playoffs.
