UC opens its season against a powerhouse in Ensworth. Yes I know their history and that they are a solid program but can promise these Tornadoes will be ready to battle to the end. Win or Lose Ensworth will know they played a hard nose football team in UNION CITY. Hoping for a 14-7 win for UC and a injury free game for both sides.

Give UC credit for scheduling them

I know us LC lake rats give UC the blues and vice versa lol but if anybody wins I hope it's west Tennessee including the tornadoes. Just goes to show the type of high school talent in northwest Tennessee that often gets overlooked. Lake county actually had ensworth scheduled a couple of years ago. Something happened and we picked up Haywood county.

Yes I wish UC the best in this one. Will be cheering them on.  I give a ton of credit for a lil ole 1A school like Union City scheduling Ensworth. :)

Union City has got a great shot at a Gold Ball this year and are going to open some eyes this year but not Ensworth’s! They will keep it close with their style for a half but in the end..Ensworth by 35. I’m just keeping it real.

Hope to prove y’all wrong. No doubt we all know that Ensworth is a great team. We shall see Friday night if David can take out Goliath.

    • Hope the catcher on baseball team come back out and play's football . He didn't play last year if I remember but I don't remember much after that wreck anyways.. But he did play his freshman and soph years and I thought was a very good player. He's put on some size now, so I'm hoping he's thinking about playing again..
    • Pirates are young this year.  Gordy can sleep on them.
    • They’ll get it worked out eventually.Farragut is too good of a program to be down for long. As an OR fan, I can’t really say I’m too distraught about it though.
    • I didn’t even see that until you said something, but I don’t think it’s that bad. Yes, the coaches can’t get along with each other. But I don’t think they’re openly taking shots at each other right in front of the parents. If they are, that’s pitiful though, that’s really pitiful. I sure hope they’re not, but yeah, I’ve heard the same thing from players over at Farragut getting fed up, and I feel as though what the coaching staff has been trying to keep under the prying eyes of the parents is now out on full display.
    • and there is definitely a reason for that—more than just Catholic recruiting.
