I was just curious what would cause them to postpone first game of the season

Both teams are garbage & should be saddled with a forfeit loss after this.These people must be protected & made to be felt sorry for but the game was cancelled because they couldn't get enough police for the game.They hate each other & look at the schools so yeah that's why excess police who everyone wants defunded was needed

HCDE requires Brainerd and Howard to have a ton of security when they play due to the large amount of unsupervised kids that attend the game. It's really hard to hire 10-15 cops for a game on a Saturday night when they know it will be real work and not a cushy extra job. 

On top of that, rumor is the county DA is going to release the video of an officer involved shooting the same evening and any potential protest could strain CPD manpower.

Dumbazzes make it hard on everyone. Can't blame them for this move. When your fans are uncontrollable then that program should be stripped from athletic competition for five years to get the message across loud and clear.

These school have been at it since I was in HS. I’m from Nashville and know the hate between Brainerd,Howard and tyner. Why they don’t kill the games for about 4 years. Somebody move to a different district or division

intel says that the rival thugs to include their young deminioned soilders that are now back in the halllways could cause it to go sideways...and wouldnt gonna be enuff legally armed authority to provide a safe environment for those productive parents and fans in society who have a grip on their youth....

...one must remember these schools cant even get thru a high school graduation ceremony without a few blown war on each other

but when you have elected officials, a police force that is restricted from doing what it takes to stop it, and parents failing to be parents along with society as a whole allowin it to exist when it shows up next door.....remember that its teenage kids as a whole that are dictatin to the law and adult HCBE authorities as to what will happen....and one, if not both may have another game canceled durin the season do to this same mess

Howard is in a different region, 5A. Game isn’t mandatory. 

They should play with only parents present if it’s that much of an issue.
