You and I normally agree but I'll respectfully disagree on the last statement. Most 1A schools have to play iron man football. If I'm at a 5A school, I better be able to have enough depth and talent to keep fresh bodies on the field. By the 4th Q, the bigger school should be able to wear down the other. I know there's exceptions to the rule... like tonight. S Pitt wins

true but the 1a teams that have enough depth to go at it with those bigger schools will win if they’re good. like south pitt, mckenzie, peabody, and fayetteville the last couple years. fayetteville blew out 2 top 4a programs last year

i remember when fayetteville played red bank and upperman last season those teams had a lot going both ways while fayetteville had maybe 2 or 3

I agree with this.

Losing to top tier programs isn't embarrassing.  You don't get better playing subpar competition regardless of classification.  What's embarrassing is never playing any of those schools you deem to be superior while playing inferior teams out of region.
